Advice for IB

I was wondering if anyone can share some good, effective advice relating to IB, especially concerning the extended essay (how did you decide on your subject/topic, what can someone do to make the process easier) and other big essay assignments.

Also, if you're done with the program, how was your experience? Is there something you wished was different?

If you're currently in the program, what are your thoughts so far?

Biggest thing for your extended essay - choose a topic that you like and are genuinely interested in and don't procrastinate on it. Really, IB students just like to complain, it's not that much work. The assignments are pretty well spaced out, and you do actually get some benefit from getting the diploma.
